Our Pastor,
Rev Jeff
Rumble.
Originally from Anaheim, Rev Rumble has spent the last six years
as Solo Pastor of Calvary Presbyterian Church in Fresno, CA.
Focusing his energies toward seeking and saving the lost, even as
Jesus did, Pastor Rumble brings his skills in communication and the
love of God, people and life to East Whittier as a mission that God
has given.

Our Children and Family ministry plans weekly education and Bible
study for children from infancy through 6th grade, as well as
special events and family activities throughout the year.

- His kids is the "during church" alternative
for the children too young to sit through an entire church
service.

- Youth - We have active student ministries for Jr. High,
High School, and College aged students. Regular weekly meetings
for fellowship and Bible study are held, as well as special
events throughout the year.

Adults - There are many opportunities at EWPC for adults in
all stages of life.
|
- The Triple F Club has celebrated over 55 years of
Faith, Fun and Fellowship in all of their activities. The
Club meets on the fourth Tuesday evening of the month with
breaks in July, August, November and December. The
meetings include a home cooked dinner along with a special
program. Previous programs have included performances by the La
Habra Lites Band, musical performances by soloists, and various
travel presentations on trips to Russia, New Zealand, New Mexico
and the California coastline.

PRESBYTERIAN WOMEN IN THE CONGREGATION
Our Purpose:
Forgiven and freed by God in Jesus Christ and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves: To nurture our faith through prayer and Bible Study; To support the mission of the Church worldwide; To work for justice and peace; and To build an inclusive, caring community of women that strengthens the Presbyterian Church (USA) and witnesses to the promise of God's Kingdom.
Four Circles meet monthly for fellowship, prayer and study:
- SARAH CIRCLE meets on the second Sunday of each month at 8:30
am in the Church Library.
- ELIZABETH CIRCLE meets on the second Tuesday of each month at
1:30
PM in the Church Library.
- LYDIA CIRCLE meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30 pm in the homes of members.
- HANNAH CIRCLE meets on the second Wednesday of each month
at 9:30 am in the homes of members.
All women of the Congregation are invited and urged to join one of these groups for fellowship and Bible Study.
- RUTH CIRCLE meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 10:00
AM in the Church Library. Ruth Circle is our hands-on mission
circle. We create quilts, bandages, clothes, toys, etc.
to be donated to those in need.
All women of the Congregation are invited and urged to join one
of these groups for fellowship and Bible Study.
We prepare and serve the Congregational Dinner before the Annual Congregational Meeting in January. In April or May we hold a Spring Luncheon which features interesting and fun programs. In October we are in charge of the Thank Offering Service and plan and take part in the Church Service that day. Each Thank Offering Service we honor some member of the Church who has shown particular dedication to the work of the Church with an Honorary Life Membership.
We hold several Gatherings during the year where we hear interesting and informative speakers and serve lunch. Each Circle has an opportunity to serve as Hostesses at these Gatherings. All members of the Congregation are invited to join us at these Gatherings and enjoy a meal and fellowship.
